 I just profounded that below are some events which occur in Chandaneswar temple, but except these every day it's like a festival Shiva is our beloved god, so we cant strict to these days. but below are massive crowd gatherings days and some extracurriculars will occur.


Chaitra Mela (Chadak Mela): The most significant event at Chandaneswar Temple is the Chaitra Mela, also known as Chadak Mela. also its called Chandan mela This festival occurs in the month of Chaitra (March-April) and attracts lakhs(5-10) of devotees. The biggest attraction will be kanta phuda.  The mela lasts for about 13 days, and people from Odisha, West Bengal, and other neighboring states like Bihar and Jharkhand visit the temple during this time. From these 13 days, the last three days will be having more attractive rituals Devotees perform various rituals and offer prayers to Lord Shiva like Chandan khela, Kanta phuda, and many more.

Maha Shivaratri: God Shiva devotes this  Maha Shivaratri as one of the major events celebrated with great devotion at Chandaneswar Temple. Devotees observe fasts and spend the whole night in the temple, offering prayers and participating in various religious activities like diwa,jalan.

Shravan Month Celebrations: The month of Shravan (July-August) is considered highly auspicious for Lord Shiva. During this time, People go to some of the nearest rivers take water, and take this to the temple by walking many devotees visit the temple to offer special prayers, especially on Mondays, which are dedicated to Lord Shiva, this also huge crowd especially in.

Kartik Purnima: which falls in the month of Kartik (October-November), people are very active these days because Hindus these days consider as very powerful is another important event at Chandaneswar Temple. That time is winter people wake up early morning doing some spiritual things there. Devotees take a holy dip in the nearby water bodies and offer prayers to Lord Shiva.

These events are marked by large gatherings, traditional rituals, and a deep sense of devotion among the followers of Lord Shiva.
